# Hold

**Hold** triggers the [**UnityEvent**](/press-e/manual/interaction-types/unity-event.md), but the player must **hold for X seconds** before it fires. For visual feedback, enable a **progress Slider** to display the **percentage of elapsed time** relative to the total duration.
